
Surfing is a fun recreational activity that has a culture all its own, and it offers a number of health and fitness benefits. Surfing is a great cardiovascular exercise, using mostly upper body muscles to do the paddling work, and leg muscles to guide the board once you're up and riding. Since surfing involves more time paddling, it provides an intense upper body and core workout.
Surfing is not as easy as it looks. It is worth taking some lessons to give you the basics and hopefully get you up on your feet.
Pacific Surf School San Diego has successfully formed surfers and introduced thousands of people into the world of surfing and exposed them to its benefits of spiritual, emotional and physical well-being. They are proud to share their surfing knowledge and expertise so that everyone can enjoy the ocean.
